How long have you been blogging?
I started my blog in 2011 when I was engaged and unemployed. I'm always embarrassed by this question because I feel like I should have more success with my blog than I do!

What inspired you to start your blog?
I had just discovered fashion blogs and I wanted to find my personal style. I've always had a love for online communities and I wanted to get better at photography and writing so I decided to take a stab at blogging.

Please describe your blog?
Rebekah Anne has transformed from a personal style blog to a blog focused on helping women love and embrace every aspect of their lives. I don't feel like I have one thing I'm terrific at; my passions range from marriage and parenthood to fashion, beauty and design.

What do you enjoy about blogging?
This is hard to narrow down! My favorite thing about blogging is getting to expand my skills. I've learned about HTML and CSS in order to design my own blog. I've also been able to become a better photographer and writer through blogging. I feel like it just fits everything I love into one outlet.

Do you make an income either from your blog or from a freelance business?
I've been working the 9-5 for the last three years and have blogged more as a hobby. This year my goal is to turn my blog into a business. I'm also starting a virtual assistant business so that I can spend more time with my kids.

How much does your blog/ business make? Is it enough to support you?
My blog doesn't provide a steady income right now. However over the last few years I've made a little bit of money here and there. It has been enough to keep my blog going.

Please describe a typical 'day in the life' for you?
My typical day is changing now that I'm not working full time. However, I typically get up two hours before my kids so that I can get some uninterrupted work in. Then I get the kids up dressed and fed and then work some more or do a little bit of cleaning around the house. Then I try and work again during nap time. In the afternoon I usually relax, play with the kids and sneak in some more housework. On a good day I'll even start dinner before my husband comes home! (But these days are few and far between.)

What is the biggest obstacle you've had to overcome?
Self doubt. I'm a pro at the comparison game and a lot of times it makes me feel so inadequate that I give up on myself. I'm learning to not compare my success to anyone else's. And even more importantly I'm learning to be happy for other people when they succeed.

What advice would you give someone considering starting a blog?
Determine what your blogging goals are. Do you want any to blog for fun? Do you want to start a business? Depending on your answer you'll need to see what kind of dedication is needed. Once you know what you want keep striving for it!

What are your future goals for your blog?
Right now, I have small goals for my blog. I want to get back into blogging regularly and building relationships with my followers.
