History / Socials Studies in the Habitat Curriculum
If you are going through a Habitat Schoolhouse Curriculum, Kindergarten through Grade 3 focuses primarily on community and family history which are covered in Health & Wellness and Social Studies. More formal American/Canadian history is introduced in the curriculum in Grade 4 and continues through to Grade 6.
If you would like to introduce history earlier than grade 4, Habitat Schoolhouse offers these history electives for children ages 4-12.
A full History Level 1 Curriculum is set to release in late Sept 2027.
